This no frills, lightweight mid-length short is everything you need and nothing you don't for a good day on the trails. The new Rita short sports all the same elastic back on the waistband for a little extra forgiveness as its big sister the Riley, but with a shorter inseam for those who want to show a little more leg.

Sicilian Summer: Not sure about you all, but we’ve got the travel bug BIG TIME. This fun and funky print has us dreaming of afternoons lounging by the seaside and we couldn’t love it more. 

Witchy Woman: Introducing "Witchy Woman" –  this design brings together earthy and eclectic elements for a vibey new pattern that's sure to last through the end of time.

Wild Rye ships via USPS for standard shipping, so please provide your PO Box address if that is how you get your mail (talking to you mountain town people!). Standard shipping is free for orders over $100. For more details on all of our shipping options, see below. 

Standard Shipping

Our standard shipping option is USPS Ground Advantage, and is free for orders over $100, or $9 for orders under $100. This shipment method generally takes 3-7 business days to deliver after the package is shipped. 

USPS Priority Mail

Need to get your order a little faster? We offer USPS Priority Mail for $12. This shipment method generally takes 2-4 business days to deliver after the package is shipped. 

UPS 3 Day Select

Our UPS 3 Day Select shipping option is $25 for all domestic orders, and ensures that the package ships with UPS. Shipments can be expected to deliver 3 business days after the ship date. PO boxes are not accepted for this shipment method.

UPS 2nd Day Air

UPS 2nd Day Air is our fastest shipping option and costs $35. Shipments can be expected to deliver 2 business days after the ship date. PO boxes are not accepted for this shipment method. 

Standard International Shipping

International shipping is $25. Wild Rye does not cover duties, taxes and other fees determined by the customs agency within the destination country. These fees will be due at the time of delivery and are non-refundable.

Finally, a shorter short

I use these shorts for more than just biking: running and casual wear around town! I love the stretchy tab, so they aren't too tight and more roomy without a padded insert, and "just right," with the butt pads. I do not like longer shorts for my short rides, so these are a nice compromise for hot days and don't feel restrictive like the longer style. I can run in them without inner thigh chafing as well. Some people may think they run large, but I would much prefer this to running small. If you have meatier/muscular thighs, you may want to size up or go with a longer style.

I want to love these 😭

They’re the perfect cut, and great material but they’re too tight. I have the freyah pants in a 14 and they’re fantastic so I decided to get these in a 14 but they’re too tight for riding in 😭 now the size up is sold out. I’m crushed.
