With a relaxed freeride fit, it’s crafted from 100% recycled Seawastex nylon topped with a PFAS-free DWR treatment. A 30k/30k waterproof and breathable membrane keeps you dry through storm days and high-output climbs, while the soft brushed backer adds just enough warmth without bulk. A helmet-compatible hood offers protection without compromising visibility, a removable powder skirt gives you versatility between deep resort days and riding with a pack, and a large internal stash pocket means all your snacks (or skins) stay close at hand. From storm skiing to spring tours, the Butterfield is your one and done power shell.

To care for your DWR-treated jacket, wash it with a special technical detergent (like Nikwax) in a front-loading washing machine on a warm setting with an extra rinse cycle. Avoid using standard laundry detergents, fabric softeners, or bleach, as these can interfere with the DWR coating.
Tumble dry the jacket on low with warm heat for at least 30 minutes to reactivate waterproofing.
