This no frills, lightweight short is everything you need and nothing you don't for a good day on the trails. The Riley features an elastic stretch panel on the waistband for a little extra forgiveness around the midsection.

Painted Poppy: These picturesque poppies were hand-painted, scanned and digitized by our genius pattern designer. Symbolizing health and regeneration, the orange poppy is the perfect floral print to rock as we come out of the colder months and open our arms to sunshine and springtime.

Sicilian Summer: Not sure about you all, but we’ve got the travel bug BIG TIME. This fun and funky print has us dreaming of afternoons lounging by the seaside and we couldn’t love it more. 

Witchy Woman: Introducing "Witchy Woman" –  this design brings together earthy and eclectic elements for a vibey new pattern that's sure to last through the end of time.


Wild Rye ships via USPS for standard shipping, so please provide your PO Box address if that is how you get your mail (talking to you mountain town people!). Standard shipping is free for orders over $100. For more details on all of our shipping options, see below. 

Standard Shipping

Our standard shipping option is USPS Ground Advantage, and is free for orders over $100, or $9 for orders under $100. This shipment method generally takes 3-7 business days to deliver after the package is shipped. 

USPS Priority Mail

Need to get your order a little faster? We offer USPS Priority Mail for $12. This shipment method generally takes 2-4 business days to deliver after the package is shipped. 

UPS 3 Day Select

Our UPS 3 Day Select shipping option is $25 for all domestic orders, and ensures that the package ships with UPS. Shipments can be expected to deliver 3 business days after the ship date. PO boxes are not accepted for this shipment method.

UPS 2nd Day Air

UPS 2nd Day Air is our fastest shipping option and costs $35. Shipments can be expected to deliver 2 business days after the ship date. PO boxes are not accepted for this shipment method. 

Standard International Shipping

International shipping is $25. Wild Rye does not cover duties, taxes and other fees determined by the customs agency within the destination country. These fees will be due at the time of delivery and are non-refundable.

The perfect length!

Love these shorts! So comfy, stretchy and great fit! Not too long so they don’t look like boy shorts, but long enough to cover the chamois and protect from the bike seat and look like MTB shorts. I just wish they came in more colors, only 1 available.

Fun shorts to show off

So I purchased these shorts for going over my chamois when mountain biking or wearing by themselves for cruising bike rides around my neighborhood. The fabric is thin and super stretchy and worked very well. They didn’t add any bulk or heat. The fit is great and I plan to order some pants soon.

Cute short, sizing off

I love the print but the waist is too big. My waist measures 32 and hips 39 and most of my shorts are size 10 as is the Riley short I purchased. The waist could be another 2 inches smaller for a good fit. The hips also fit a little loose but not a big deal. Since I bought it on sale I can't return it. I did reach out to customer support to help with sizing and they suggested a size 10. Will not be wearing on the bike but maybe around town. Bike shorts should have a waist adjustment as who wants to add a belt for biking. Love the prints and colors.

My new favorite summer short

These are my new favorite shorts for summer. I am typically a longer inseam gal, but these are long enough for my long legs to feel covered. The fabric weight is so light and breathable. The stretch is perfect. I love the added stretch to the waist band. I wear a 10 in the Freel and also wear a 10 in the Riley, but the Riley fits a touch more relaxed. Would HIGHLY recommend this short for hot and/or long summer pedals.
