2021: A Year in Review

A QUICK LOOK BACK AT 2021

Collage with Cassie

What a year it’s been filled with trials, tribulations, and triumphs! Despite supply chain challenges, painful political decisions affecting women, and a pandemic that continues to rage, our little brand has ridden the roller coaster and come out on top while trying to to do right by all of you every step of the way. (Thanks to your support, we donated $6,000+ to Planned Parenthood from our "Ride Fast, Raise Hell" jersey sales!)

In 2021, we expanded our small but mighty team with more hire announcements to come in early 2022 including one pretty exciting new open position for a COO. We’ve grown our line—innovating specifically for women every step of the way—with key launches including our Freyah Bike Pant, first insulated piece (the Imogene Shacket), and an exciting collab with Pivot Cycles.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2022

We've had some major victories this past year that will lead to exciting things to come in 2022. Since founding Wild Rye and as a Seattle area native, I’ve dreamed of partnering with Nordstrom—among other specialty retailers—to make outdoor apparel (and the great outdoors) more accessible to all. When Nordstrom said “hell yes” to bringing in Wild Rye as its first cycling brand, my year was made! We’ll be launching cycling apparel, base layers, and SO much more in Nordstrom coming Spring 2022! Additionally, you’ll be able to find us IRL at all 170 REI stores and all 18 Title Nine stores. We are so thrilled to be able meet you wherever you shop!

Cheers to all of you, a new year, and all the exciting adventures to come!

xx,
Cassie
