I haven't tried in action yet but these are so comfy and fit well. I ordered to be on the roomy side. I'm 5'4, 140. 30"W and 40"H and bought a size 8. It's slightly more of a cotton canvas material than the mtb shorts. I expected the same material as the mtb shorts but it's not a bad thing.
