Aly

An Alaskan upbringing imbued Aly with a serious thirst for adventure and a deep love for wild places and wild people. She’s an award-winning filmmaker, writer and photographer. Her documentary films take on adventure, conservation and social impact issues. Aly is based out of White Salmon, WA, where she alternates between running and biking the trails and trying to keep up with her two toddlers. 

A lifelong snowchaser, runner and general outdoor enthusiast, she fell head-over-heels for mountain bikes in 2015 and is now convinced they’re the best way to travel.

• Home mountain range? Raised in the Chugach, now based in the Cascades
• Fur-baby? Nooka Bear Dog, Husky of Leisure, and Dewey+Duck, feral cats extraordinaire.
• Favorite trail / mountain? Monarch crest Trail, Colorado for the views, adventure and duration. 
• Go-to aprés beverage? Hot chocolate or a cold stout.
• Day Job? Filmmaker, photographer and mama.
