Our flagship short, the Freel has been Outside Magazine’s Gear of the Year and is beloved by mountain bikers everywhere, from the Alps to the Bitterroots. Made with shrub-resistant and mud-deflecting nylon, the Freel is an enduro ready short that seamlessly takes you from the red rocks of Moab to the loamy single track of the PNW. With four-way stretch, deep pockets, and our unique Juliana Bicycles collab fern print, the Freel is a beautifully designed short that’s still technical as hell. No compromises, it’s our favorite workhorse.

AVAILABLE IN SIZES: 0-18

Juliana Fern: Drawing inspiration from the lush hills of Santa Cruz, California, this Juliana collaboration fern print is vibrant and fun – just like the location itself and the world-famous women-specific bikes made there.

Greek bike short

I really wanted these to work but the fit was off. I usually wear 4-6, and have another Wild Rye bike short in size 6 that are on the baggy side but I love. Unfortunately the Freel in size 6 was too tight in the butt and thighs.

Great shorts!

I really love wearing these shorts, but I will say that they run a little small.

Koi print runs small!

I have these shorts in two other colors and love them. I ordered a third in the koi print in my usual size 6, but they ran super small. The waist is at least 2" smaller (yes, I measured.) Also, FYI, the true color of the shorts is much darker. They appear turquoise/yellow online, but in real life are a dark teal and orange. Overall a little bummed since I can't return and am stuck with them ... guess I shoulda read the reviews.

Tight waist

I loved the feel bike shorts in every way except for the fit in the waist. I adjusted to their sizing, or so I thought. I normally wear a size 4 in pants but ordered the 6 and unfortunately the waist was too small for riding comfort.
