First impression: these are nice, but I expected something different (not sure what, just different)
Second impression: oh I WILL live in these all winter!
Uses so far include: shovelling the walk, dog walks, work from home, cozy couch snuggles, and chilling on the couch after a long day outside. They're not totally windproof but do cut it significantly! I'm planning to try ski touring with them on a nice, sunny day.
Pros: deep pockets! Delicious fleece! Fun lilac color! Zip pocket! Cinch cuffs!!
Cons: I get no value from the drawstring personally, given the tightness of the elastic waistband. The drawstring is easy to pull out though, so no huge loss there.
I also wish the pockets had zippers or closures so snow doesn't get in there, but it's a very minor wish.
I got a M pair for my partner (6', 190?lbs, man, 32" inseam) and he said the waistband feels tight in a secure way, not a bad way. He wears his more hip height rather than high-waisted.
I’m obsessed with this set!!! Love the high waisted fit of the joggers and that you can adjust the ankle cuffs to fit straight legged or synch them in. Not to mention the COZIEST fleece material ever. And I love the pocket finishes. I am usually a size 10-12 in all WR stuff and I went with 10, love how they look on me but the waistband is a little bit tight. Might go with a 12 next time!
I love the high pile collection! I got these in a size Medium thinking that they'd be nice and comfy-baggy for lounging around the house and for long van trips, but they ended up being quite large/long and they actually fit my husband much better than the fit me! I ended up giving them to him to wear as a joke and he loves them so he is keeping them! He is 6'0" and athletic and usually wears a 32 inseam for pants. If you have long legs, these will be great for you. I am normally a 6 in Wild Rye bottoms and a small/2/4 in other brands like Arc'teryx for pants. I fit these well in a size Small.
Bought these for my wife as a surprise because she loves cozy clothes around winter and she loved them. She put them on straight away and just stayed in them.
