zMarion | Women's Chammy Short
High summer passes and longer days are calling. The Marion Chammy will help you go the distance! We've kept the same popular high-waisted silhouette, but made some critical improvements to the waist band, leg bands, and chammy pad itself to keep you going on those extra long days.

When they first arrived, the waist band felt too tight and they rolled down when I rode. I was also concerned about the grippy bands around the thighs (they caught on my not-so-shaven leg hairs). However, after a few rides and a wash or two, they fit perfectly and they no longer snag. The major padding has 100% protected my lady-area from getting bashed and banged up on my frame and they keep me feeling comfortable for huge climbs and long days in the park or on the trails.
An excellent chammy. The front panel at the waist is snug yet forgiving as there's a break in the waist elastic, feels great, no tummy ache like most chammy shorts that are tight elastic along the entire waist band. They don't pinch my legs and that makes them super comfortable. The waist band is a bit itchy, I hope that part gets redesigned but everything else about these is perfect. I wear an 8 in Freels but wear a 10 in these as they seem to run a size small. Super happy with the fit and comfort under my Freels.
I was so excited for these - finally a chammy made in proper womens' sizing! But, the seams are super itchy on my thighs and the elastic rubber band is too tight around my waist and legs. I have to roll the waste down to wear them which is uncomfortable in its own way. I have put over 300 kms in the shorts already hoping that once I washed them a few times the elastic would get looser and the seams less itchy once worn down a bit, but no dice. Both the elastic rubber and itchiness get even more uncomfortable for me the more I sweat in them during a ride. I am usually between and size 4 and 6 depending on the brand, and I ordered a size 4 as most of my other bike chammys have stretched, but these haven't. Not sure I will continue to wear them which is a huge bummer. The material, colours, and padding are great, though.
I really wanted to love these. The quality of material is nice & the padding is good. Unfortunately the elastic waist band is too tight and cuts at my skin. I had to roll it down in order to wear them.
This is definitely a step up from the chammy I got with my first pair of mountain bike shorts from a popular brand. Their high waist eliminates potential muffin top, the bands at the thighs keep the chammy properly in place while riding. It is more cushion than my last pair, too. A little snug at the waist for me but great fit overall-- I might just have to break them in a bit more. Since I toiled over sizing, I'll share my specs: 5'6" 125 pounds, usually wear a 25-26 in jeans; I purchased a size 4 in this chammy.
