This is a beautiful jersey--love the charcoal color, all the pockets, style/design. I wear an 8, ordered a 10 and I think MAYBE a 14 might fit comfortably? Weird extra room bags in the shoulder area and the body is super-tight. Not a curvy girl shirt for sure. Return policy on the site says it's best to order a new shirt and also generate a return at the same time but that will take up to 10 days which seems cumbersome. Not sure if I will order larger size or just return. A shame because it's the best-looking shirt I've come across in the past few months. Maybe I should wait till improvements are made on the Sandia. Concerned about the reviewers getting snags and holes. Fabric needs to hold up better for a $95 shirt.
Love the green color and the size 8 fit great! . I looked at other reviews and ordered the 8 based on it running small. It has been too hot in CO to wear it right now but come Fall I will pair it with my Kaweah Ranunulus shorts, I think I will be right in style for Autumn riding!
I ordered a size 8 and it fits well. My other shirts from Wild Rye is a 4 so it was a pretty big jump as other reviews suggested. I'm 5'10" and about 140lbs with a long torso and super skinny arms so it was important for me to have something long enough to not expose my back. I am also able to wear my elbow pads under the sleeves which surprised me. I really need sun protection living in Colorado and being ghostly white so this shirt has already stood the test of a few 4-5 hour rides with sun protection without making me want to have a spare shirt to change into when the temperatures get too hot.
I love the Pacific Blue and sizing up from my usual 4 to a 6 was definitely the way to go. I am 64” and 115 lbs, small chested, and the 6 is trim but not snug..just the way I like it. I am envious of folks that find long sleeved polyester “cool” in summer riding conditions though. I find it sweaty and hot. I look forward to wearing this in the fall !
I'll start off with a cliche that I don't write reviews. If it's bad I just roll with the punches and move on. If it's mediocre, meh. But if it's great, I always feel like I'm shooting myself in the foot because it's gonna sell out. Now onto the shirt.... I live in coastal California so think morning fog 50 degrees that becomes 80ish+ by the top of the climb out of the fog then back to 50 coming down to go ride back home. Not to mention single track loaded with poison oak that require long sleeves even when it's 80ish. This shirt is my everything. And the stash pockets! Big enough for a PB & banana top of the climb snack a rolled -up vest and I always leave one open for any trail trash I need to pick up. (Can hold multiple crushed plastic water bottles :(. I even bought one for my hubby - he's getting in touch with his feminine side. Nothing compares!
