The freda 7" shorts are my absolute fav that WR makes. I'm a heavy sweater and love 6 hour rides so the less fabric the better (but I still want to look like a mountain biker!). These fit my giant Iphone so I can look at trail maps easy. I did see some people wishing for an adjustable waist (Ive tried those in other brands and they don't work for me) I use an Arcade belt to cinch up my waist. Im 5'8' 130# and went with size 6 for a baggier look, 4 would also fit my size.

I like the cut of the shorts, they are comfortable and seem durable. They do stretch out a bit though and I wish the waste were adjustable.

These shorts are so great! They are comfortable, fit perfectly, the fabric is high quality, and who downs love an alpaca design!

My first purchase, though not the last, of Freda 7 inch shorts. Had I gone with the size chart, an 8 wouldn't have fit my hips. I sized up to a 10 since these will be worn over padded liner. The 10 fits comfortably over Terry ultimate padded liner, yet there's a gap at waist. Worn with a belt solved the problem. Loved the sunflower print.
