Sunflower: Often referred to as the “happy flower,” we couldn’t think of anything better than a fun sunflower print to welcome longer days and warmer temps.

Koi Pond: Known to swim against the current and overcome great obstacles, koi symbolize strength, courage, patience, and success through perseverance.

Mahogany: Yes. We’ve finally done it. Wild Rye has gone solid, and honestly, we couldn’t be more excited. And where better to start than this rich red that pairs with pretty much anything.

Lotus Greyscale:  A symbol of strength, resilience and rebirth, the Lotus print is a nod to women everywhere. Who could possibly be stronger or more resilient?Wear these shorts with pride, knowing you’re the baddest b**** around.

Ginkgo Jade: It wouldn't be a Wild Rye bike short if it didn't have a botanical option. A symbol of longevity and endurance, the ginkgo leaf pattern is a nod to emerging out of a few long hard years and the ever-expansive opportunities and future spreading out before us.

Wild Thing Sea Glass: This is a new take on one of our all-time favorite patterns, Wild thing. Inspired by leopard print, this anything-but-basic pattern is brought back with a refreshing and energizing green.

Sawtooth Mocha: Inspired by one of our favorite mountain ranges in Idaho, our home state, this print captures the expanse and unbridled wild of the Mountain West.

Wish these worked for me

The quality of these shorts is top notch but the fit is just so off & they give me a wicked CT just like the Freyah Pants. I found my size 4 Freda shorts to be uncomfortably snug in the waist & sold them in the pre-loved section, then ordered the Juliana collab Freel in a 6 and the waist size is exactly the same as the 4! The size chart says to measure your natural waist when these shorts don't even sit that high, at least not for me at 5'7 (they landed more than 2" below, right across my hip bones). I should have paid more attention to the model photos where you can see that they don't sit at the natural waist! Sadly I think this is my last time trying any Wild Rye shorts/pants. Seems like they work for a lot of ladies which is awesome, just not for me :(

Best shorts ever

Bought my second pair and after decades of trying other brands won’t be getting anything else! Perfect fit and feel. True to size.

The Fit!

I have tried every brand out there and finally found the mtb shorts I am sticking with forever. The fit on these are perfect, the right length, the right amount of baggy, and the patterns are spot on (for reference i'm 5'5", 124 lbs, and an athletic build). Couldn't recommend these more!

BEST MTB SHORTS!!!

Okay. I mean, just look at the prints!!! I have to be wearing fun prints if I’m going to send it mountain biking - and Wild Rye is guaranteed to fill all your funky-patterned dreams! I have so many pairs in different designs. I love them all!
FYI: I typically size up for my liner.
